aside from the very small amount of furry hardcore artists i listen to, (like 4 or 5 and one isn't even a hardcore artist,) i myself choose to aim more towards "normie" hardcore when it comes to what i listen to and what i take inspiration from stylewise. of course msx and gynx/rico have a large influence when it comes to my goofy earsplitting breaks and heavy kick music; but i am more aligned with normal people hardcore since a lot of furry hardcore has a kind of inbred style from taking inspiration from the same 1 or 2 people. usually em or 4lung. i don't listen to 4lung nor do i wish to touch anything related to them. as far as i'm aware, there's things she's done that are morally odd, things that are fabricated, and a messy breakup that had no reason to be public. i do not listen to their music, i do not interact with the "lungverse".
furry hardcore is either the worst zoonecropedorapists you've had the displeasure of learning about, immature people who may or may not air their morally dubious shit on the timeline, straight up abusers, or people who literally do nothing and are pretty chill. also the 12 year old who just discovered the words "gabba" and "breakcore" and call anything with a 909 and/or drumbreak either words (and go Waow this reminds me of lapfox!), but all they are is just annoying and that's not really a crime. especially compared to some of the interesting personas that lurk the halls of furry music
of course as far as i'm aware, one of the artists i listen to has awful allegations attatched to them. however since i do not want to open more cans of worms, i've been listening to the artist since i was young and their work holds a special place in my heart, and i quit spending my money on them, i still listen to them and don't listen to other controversial artists.
then there's can of bliss who's worst crime was having a fat furry dude with a bulge on his cover and that's highkey a nothingburger but also not really relevant because he's a hyperpop artist. ironically i like his music over his boyfriend's (russelbuck.) i like champion because i genuinely enjoy the music
